The Theology and Ethics department were very fortunate to welcome Dave Pegg from PACE (Programme for Applied Christian Education), and Barry Newman from the Dorset Humanist Society, who came in to speak with Magna students in Year 10 and 12.
The purpose of their visit was firstly to give an overview of their fundamental beliefs, and to have a debate on issues surrounding euthanasia. Students were able to ask questions to Dave and Barry, and also to witness how people can have a friendly debate, in which you can get along with someone despite fundamentally disagreeing on certain topics.
Thank you again to Dave and Barry for generously giving up their time to speak to our students.
